The Myanmar Coup Tracker (MCT) is committed to providing a comprehensive and factual record of the pivotal events following the military’s attempt to seize power in the country from the civilian government on 1st February 2021.

Its aim is to support advocacy efforts towards international institutions (especially the EU and UN) and national authorities by offering solid and continuous factual info concerning both events and public policies in response to the coup attempt. The platform serves as a reliable resource for understanding Myanmar’s evolving situation, facilitating deeper insight through detailed daily entries and analyses.
